The incubator is powered by a cable plugged into a wall socket. Make sure it’s connected then press the power-on button on the Incubator.

The incubator is controlled using the me:vidual app, which you can install on your phone or tablet. You will need to connect your device to the Incubator using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. You can’t use the incubator without the me:vidual app. Click here to download it.

You’re free to use the incubator as much as you like. We have several methods to keep the Incubator safe, which we’ve finalized after rigorous testing with industry safety professionals. If you still have concerns, please feel free to contact support. We’ve committed to giving you a device you can rely on to make your dream skincare real — even if you want to start your own dermatologically-approved pharmacy.

The Incubator is easy to clean, because your products are made in an additional container which can be lifted out. The Incubator itself will not get dirtied when in use. If you’d like to clean the outside, just use a dry or wet towel and your favorite cleaning agent (which you can make with the incubator, too).

You can buy all the ingredients you need through the me:vidual app. You’ll be connected to our me:vidual Amazon store where you can choose the ingredients.

All recipes included on the me:vidual app are laboratory-tested and approved by professional dermatologists. To keep your DIY-skincare safe, you won’t be able to add your own recipes to the app. If you’re still keen on your own secret creation, please contact our support and we’ll look into testing it out.

While there’s nothing else you specifically need besides your Incubator and me:vidual app, we recommend using these accessories to make the process smoother. Please purchase them online via our Amazon store, which you can access via the me:vidual app.

me:vidual app

Yes, the me:vidual app is free to use. You can get it on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Or, download it directly from our website. You’ll need it for using your Incubator and making your products.

The Warehouse is a feature in the me:vidual mobile app that lets you save and manage the ingredients you've purchased from the me:vidual Amazon store. After purchasing, you can add your ingredients to the Warehouse by scanning the QR code on the product label. This feature gives you a personalized inventory that tracks your chemical levels before you make a product, while keeping you informed of any ingredients that are running low.

Me:vidual only uses your data for your personal account, to improve how you interact with our app, make recommendations, and help you achieve your perfect skin and product experience. When you delete your account, your data is completely removed from our servers. Please explore our Data Policy for more information.

Making products yourself is much cheaper than buying them. That’s because you can choose what ingredients to buy. This is called DIY cosmetics, and it’s the best way to make high-quality natural products personalized to your unique skin.

Making products at home, in half an hour, using an app, works out cheaper than having them manufactured industrially. The fact is, the large-scale manufacturing processes involved in making products you buy at your supermarket are expensive — requiring resources like large amounts of electricity, powerful machines, and human involvement. When you make it yourself, you bypass shipping and import costs, too. Also, retailers might mark-up products to make a profit on them. Our goals cut out those costs: we give you ingredients as cheap as it took to make them, and a device that empowers you to produce the exact amount you need. That’s how you get the perfect products for your skin much more affordably.
